    With 25+ years in commercial insurance, Samantha is known for her sharp expertise, strategic vision, and deep commitment to helping business and property owners protect what they’re building and scale with confidence. She also serves as a Curriculum Board Member for the California Department of Insurance, helping shape education and professional standards for the next generation of insurance leaders.

    Samantha began teaching insurance in 1998 through her family’s business Lytespeed Learning, grounding her career in real-world experience long before “thought leadership” became a buzzword. She blends strategy with storytelling and soul—bringing a human, practical approach to everything she touches. In 2021, she launched S. by Samantha Consulting, a purpose-driven firm focused on operations, brand building, and impact strategy. Through this platform, she hosts the InspiHER’d Podcast and authored Impact: Stories of Change Makers, Creators, and Everyday Women Doing Extraordinary Work, amplifying the voices of women boldly rewriting the rules.

    She is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Sparkle Foundation, a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit supporting single mothers through enrichment scholarships, microloans, and community programming across the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and Phoenix. Since its official founding in 2016, Sparkle has raised and reinvested $3.5+ million directly into the community, touching thousands of lives. Through SparkleBiz, Samantha extends that mission by providing funding, mentorship, and access to networks for women-owned small businesses. Her leadership has earned numerous community honors, including the coveted Jefferson Award in 2023.

    In 2024, Samantha expanded her vision with S. | Consulting, an initiative designed to connect the dots—helping individuals and organizations align their brand, business, and impact in a way that feels whole, intentional, and sustainable.

    At the core of everything she does is legacy. Samantha is a devoted mother to two incredible daughters and a living example of what it means to live loud and shine bright. Whether she’s in a boardroom, on a stage, behind a microphone, or in the community, Samantha shows up as all the Sams proving that your power multiplies when you stop separating who you are.

    Stacey Fleece brings a unique blend of financial expertise, heart for service, and a passion for empowering women to her role on the Sparkle Foundation board. With more than 25 years in the mortgage and financial industries—and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation—Stacey understands how economic opportunity and financial literacy can transform lives. She believes deeply in Sparkle’s mission to uplift single mothers and their children through education, resources, and community support.

    For Stacey, this mission is deeply personal. Raised by a single mother—and later raising her own children as a single mom—she knows firsthand the challenges and resilience that define single-mother households. That lived experience fuels her dedication to helping Sparkle provide the kind of support, encouragement, and opportunities that can change the trajectory of a family’s future.

    A natural connector and mentor, Stacey thrives on helping others grow—whether she’s coaching professionals in their careers, championing women-owned businesses, or building pathways for families to achieve long-term stability. Her own journey, from Wall Street to leading sales teams in mortgage banking, has fueled her conviction that real impact happens when financial knowledge meets compassion and opportunity.

    Outside of work, Stacey is co-host of the InspiHER’d podcast, where she shines a light on the stories of women making a difference in the world. She also dedicates time to volunteering, supporting local initiatives, and creating spaces for women to feel seen, heard, and inspired.

    A proud USC Trojan and University of San Francisco alum, Stacey has lived in the Bay Area for over two decades. She and her husband—a celebrated basketball coach and scout—have two children: a son thriving in Chicago and a daughter studying at Tulane University in New Orleans.

  • Tracy Teale

    Tracy Teale, CPA, is an Audit Partner with RINA and is the head of the Firm’s San Francisco office. Tracy joined RINA in 1999 and serves as the Managing Director of RINA’s Not-For-Profit Practice Group. Prior to joining the Firm, Tracy was the CFO of a not-for-profit organization, and the CFO of a personnel firm. With more than 20 years of public accounting experience, and over 10 years of private industry experience, Tracy is very knowledgeable in accounting issues facing small to medium sized companies. Tracy specializes in providing tax, audit, and attest services to not-for-profit organizations, for-profit businesses, partnerships, S corporations, private foundations, and colleges. She also has extensive experience designing and implementing processes and systems.

    By applying a customized approach to each engagement, Tracy helps business owners grow their businesses, and reach the next level of success. She works closely with clients to help them adjust their processes during high growth periods and to establish or modify their accounting systems. Tracy is passionate about working with not-for-profit organizations, and she is adept at implementing and updating online accounting systems. She also has significant experience working with real estate partnerships and REITS in connection with the audits of real estate properties and developments. Tracy works with companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, information services, and technology.

    Tracy serves as Treasurer of the Financial Women of San Francisco, Director of Finance for Sparkle Foundation, Vice President for Contra Costa Child Care Council, Board member and audit committee chair of Girls Scouts of Northern California and Audit Committee Member for the Diablo Regional Arts Association. In addition to being involved in several nonprofit organizations, Tracy works with youth through the Contra Costa County 4H program.

  • Josh Demers

    Josh Demers is a Sales Operations Program Manager at Microsoft, working with a team focused on Operational Excellence and Sales Enablement. His history is rich in technology and retail, spanning over 15 years, leading highly collaborative, strategic, cross-functional customer centric teams across brands families globally know and love. Josh leads with passion and the end experience is at the center of his work, both personally and professionally.

    A Pacific Northwest Native, Josh and his husband moved to California in 2017 and found the Sparkle Foundation through social media in a personal outreach campaign. Growing up in a single mother household, he quickly saw the positive impact the Sparkle Foundation had on the community and began to volunteer. Over time he became more involved behind the scenes and 2023 has offered an opportunity to step forward into a leadership role within the organization. Josh will be joining Sparkle as Director of Technology and Infrastructure.

  • Brandi Aguilar

    Brandi Aguilar is currently an Investigator with The Solano County District Attorney's Office. Brandi has been with The Solano County District Attorney's Office for almost 2 years and has been in law enforcement 18.5 years. Prior to working for the District Attorney’s Office, Brandi was a Deputy Sheriff with The Solano County Sheriff's Office where she worked numerous positions while in the Sheriff's Office. Brandi was a Correctional Officer, Correctional K9 Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Bailiff, Vallejo/Benicia Resident Deputy, Crisis Negotiator, and Defensive Tactics Instructor.

    Over the last 7 years, Brandi has worked closely with The Sparkle Foundation. Brandi had given out over 500 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in the Vallejo Community as well as been able to give the gift of Christmas to over 50 single mothers and children. In October of 2022, Brandi made it official and became a member of The Sparkle Foundation Board as a Community Outreach Specialist.

    In addition to her professional achievements, she is a devoted single mother and understands firsthand the unique challenges faced by single moms. Motivated by her own experiences, she founded "Single Mamas Better Together" an organization dedicated to empowering single mothers in Phoenix, AZ and Denver, CO. Through this platform, she fosters a sense of community, providing a safe space for single moms to connect, share resources, and offer emotional support.

    Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arizona State University which provided a strong foundation to scientific principles and critical thinking.

    She finds extreme joy in spending quality time with her two beautiful daughters. With her dedication, leadership skills, and personal experiences as a single mother, she continues to make strides to make a significant impact in both her professional and personal life.

As a Sr. Dir of Sales Operations, Lisa oversees critical aspects of the business, including driving sales effectiveness, optimizing processes, and achieving operational excellence. Her keen analytical mind, coupled with a deep understanding of market dynamics, has consistently contributed to the company's growth and profitability.

    As a single mother, Lisa's story takes on an additional layer of inspiration.     Farimah F. Erlandson has devoted her career to family law since graduating from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2002. With more than two decades of experience, she has successfully guided clients through complex matters and practices throughout the Bay Area, including San Mateo, Santa Clara, San Francisco, and Alameda Counties.

    Farimah has a strong commitment to community service, including a dedication to mentorship and education. She supports the next generation of advocates by volunteering as a judge in Moot Court Competitions at the University of San Francisco School of Law and U.C. Hastings College of the Law, as well as the High School Mock Trial Programs in San Mateo County.

    Her professional excellence has been recognized by her peers through repeated selection to the Northern California Super Lawyers List.

    As a member of the Sparkle Foundation Board of Directors, Farimah brings not only deep legal expertise but also a passion for mentorship, advocacy, and community service in support of the Foundation’s mission to empower women and children.

  • Renee Eisen

    Raised in her early years by a strong single mother and born into the vibrant community surrounding the Grateful Dead, where her mother has worked since the 1960s (she now works for their music publishing company), Renee Eisen grew up immersed in music, creativity, and community. That early exposure shaped a lifelong passion for connection, culture, and meaningful impact.

    Renee has worked with some of the most influential names in the music industry, including Metallica, Grateful Dead, Sony Music Entertainment, and Capitol Records, gaining deep experience in branding, finance, marketing, and relationship-building.

    Her commitment to service has been a defining thread throughout her life. She volunteered with the Junior League, dedicating her time to recruitment efforts and helping establish a computer lab in a women’s shelter to expand access and opportunity. Renee has served on three nonprofit boards in Northern California and was a proud member of the “Dream Team” fundraising committee for Hospice, supporting compassionate end-of-life care in her community. She has also served as an ambassador for her local Chamber of Commerce, strengthening connections among local businesses and leaders.

    As cofounder of Radiant Spaces, Renee now channels her lifelong love of beauty and connection into helping others feel empowered and uplifted in their homes and environments through energetic space clearing. Radiant Spaces also offers thoughtfully curated products designed to bring intention, harmony, and inspiration into everyday life.

    Above all, Renee is devoted to family. She and her husband share a joyful, ever-growing family and recently celebrated the arrival of their sixth grandchild.

  • Emily Bouch

    Emily Bouch is a sales professional and wellness entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience in finance and technology sales and leadership. She currently serves as an Account Director for a SaaS company, where she partners with enterprise customers to drive revenue performance, build high-impact relationships, and lead teams through complex strategic initiatives.

    Alongside her corporate career, Emily is the founder of MyBlueprint Wellness, LLC, where she works as a menopause & longevity coach and fitness trainer, helping women in midlife build strength, resilience, and sustainable habits for long-term health. She teaches weekly fitness classes, designs evidence-informed wellness programs, and is passionate about making midlife a season of possibility rather than decline.

    A longtime single parent, Emily raised her daughter, Della, who will begin post-graduate studies at the Mount Sinai Phillips School of Nursing in May.  Now an empty nester living in Novato with her partner, Gary, she has a passion for the outdoors and loves to backpack, take their travel van to remote locations, hike, and mountain bike. She also loves working out and being active in her community, and brings that same energy for connection and possibility to her service on the Sparkle board.

    Katrina is a dedicated professional with a Master's in Business Administration and 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Currently employed at Ayawaska, she also manages bookkeeping, accounting, and taxes for two other firms, showcasing her versatility and expertise in financial management.

    Beyond her professional commitments, Katrina's philanthropic spirit shines through her extensive involvement with the International Order of Rainbow for Girls for a decade, including her role on the executive committee in 2004. Since 2019, she has been actively contributing to the Sparkle Foundation, driven by her strong belief in giving back to the community.

    Katrina's commitment to community service was further exemplified in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she and her mother made over 1,000 masks for distribution within their local community. Additionally, during the fires, they prepared and distributed meals to first responders and displaced residents, showcasing their selflessness and compassion.

    Katrina's story is one of leadership, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to making a positive impact on the world around her.

  • Gianna Mannina

    Gianna has been involved in community outreach since she was just 6 months old, starting by delivering Thanksgiving meals to single mothers of twins in her community. Over the years, her service has grown to focus on supporting single moms and their children through Sparkle Foundation, where she helps coordinate student volunteers, shop for families, support Sparkle with errands and administrative tasks, and most importantly, advocate for the importance of giving back, and supporting women. She’s also had the privilege of coaching underserved youth in volleyball, sharing her love for the sport. She is currently a senior at Marin Catholic, playing national travel volleyball for Marin Juniors, coaching youth volleyball, and a proud an honor student.​

A passionate and dedicated dancer, Bardot has spent countless hours perfecting her craft and has earned recognition for her talent and commitment to the art.

    Beyond athletics and performance, Bardot is deeply involved in her community through her work with the Sparkle Foundation. Since she was little—helping out as soon as she could lift a box—she has been on the front lines of the organization’s efforts to support single mothers and children in need. Her community service has earned her several awards and the admiration of peers and mentors alike.

    Guided by her personal motto, “Doing good feels good,” Bardot continues to inspire others with her energy, compassion, and leadership. Whether she’s cheering on her team, dancing on stage, or giving back through service, she brings heart and determination to everything she does.

    My name is Gianna Martinelli, and I’m a sophomore at Marin Catholic High School. I love being creative and helping others, especially when I get to see the real difference my actions make in other people’s lives. I was recently the captain of the MC soccer team, and I also play volleyball year‑round, which has taught me teamwork, leadership, commitment, and dedication. I’ve always been extremely organized and detail‑oriented, I’m a complete perfectionist in everything I do and have never been able to leave a task unfinished. I babysit often and absolutely love working with kids, and as the oldest of three younger brothers, caring for little ones has always been a big part of my life, which is a big part of why I love giving back to my community through service especially when it involves getting the chance to help a family.     Hi I’m Gigi Robertson, a junior at Petaluma High School. I’m currently on the golf team and I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I have also done ballet for most of my life which has really helped me work with a group and be able to build cooperation and respect. This year, I am excited to be starting an indoor soccer club, combining my love for the sport with leadership and organization. Working with a team is what motivates me the most and I love being around people who support one another and are able to grow together.

    I’m incredibly excited to be working with Sparkle Foundation. Being involved with an organization dedicated to helping others means a lot to me and my desire to make a positive impact.     Monroe Tradelius is a 13-year-old seventh grader at GSLS in Novato and has been part of Sparkle Foundation since day one—literally. Sparkle is in her blood and service is all she’s ever known.

    A captain on her soccer team, Monroe is an avid athlete and a natural leader among her peers. Through her lifelong involvement with Sparkle, she has developed strong communication skills, confidence, and a deep understanding of what it means to show up for others and lead with heart.

    Monroe represents the next generation of changemakers—grounded, driven, and ready to make an impact.
